Wednesday 28th we had this. Then we had manic high winds. Then we had megga rain.
Then we had a severe frost.
Then yesterday (Friday) and today we have had this.....
...the dogs have been doing this....
----and I have been on this......
The breeze was blowing, the sun was shining and I had a lovely nap in the sun, spoilt only by my inability to get up off the sun lounger without the help of my husband because Project 'Learn to get up off the floor by myself' is still work in progress.
Meanwhile..... the sheep were out....
...the cows were out too...
Bonny by the fence, Lissie giving her older daughter, Millie, a lick, and her new calf is beside her, shaded by her body. They were happy to be out. No grass to be had, but at least they could have a warm in the sun.
...and the mud starting to dry up.....
Hope the weather has not been too grim for you all.
Bye for now,
Vx

We had similar weather two weeks ago - went from almost freezing to into high spring. This has definitely been a very odd year for weather.
Hello from Connecticut. Always glad when you update. Here's hoping for continued good weather.
Our weather here in Derbyshire is so awful Vera, how I envy your sunshine. It has been a thoroughly miserable winter, too much rain and too many grey skies. To have the misery of being grounded because of the snow at this time of year is thoroughly depressing.
I'm at the stage when it's hard to believe the sun ever shone and I ever felt too warm!
How lovely to enjoy the sun and the warmth. Here the snow has melted thank goodness. Best wishes
We had a a very little sun yesterday and it just keeps raining here again. Enjoy the sun while you can. Cheers Diane
JEAN, we have also had a long hard winter this year, which is so unlike the winters we normally have here in France, but when the sun does shine it is most welcome.
SHIRLEY, the sunshine was an absolute joy to have, even if it was for only a day!
DIANE, sun now gone again and back to rain and murky skies!
Losta sunshine, but still very cold. Its deceiving when you walk outside. You think you'll feel some warmth, but don't let the wind blow. It goes right to your bones.
THERESA, same here!
Thanks very nice blog!
