Such a big fuss over Goats milk. I can tell you right now that it has a different taste from cows milk, something to get used to if you haven't had it before. Also it is the healthiest milk you can have. It also takes 10 time longer to separate (fat from milk). Wow, 2 swigs of Bailey's in 2 minutes.
Not quite Mary berry,, But fascinating and do you know what...you sound just like my mother in law........ You will have your own show soon! " a bit of baileys just needs to be done...." Love it
How I hate these posts with my slow connection, but I know I am only one in hundreds so I have to accept. The heading though is enough to make my mouth water :-) Take care Diane
Horst, it was just a new experience, that's what threw me. We had the milk for supper and it was great, no probs.
John, I think I feel honoured that I sound like your mother in law!
The Broad, thankyou, blessings are always handy to receive.
Diane, sorry about not writing a blog to accompany the vid. Briefly, we milked our goats for the first time and the experience brought such startlement to me that I had to have a couple of swigs of Baileys, that's all!
Denise, well I wasn't actually hysterical, just awe struck that we had got milk from an udder. Milk tasted fab!
