Strewth.....all I did was press a button to see what would happen and the graphics of the blog went all askew, so please be patient with me as I sort out the mess. Message to self: Do not meddle about with things that are alright in the first place.

Hello there Vera! I see you're having a bit of a battle getting your blog design to work. I had the same problem for aaaages but eventually sorted it out through trial and error - mostly error. Might be worth setting up a second blog short term for experimentation and when you've found a layout that suits, transferring it onto your main blog. With my current one I went with a simple layout (can't remember its name) and then played around in the 'advanced' (I think that's what it's called) option to change typeface and colours etc. Also, to get my header pic working, I sized and cropped a photo in my laptop's photo thingy before loading onto the blogsite (I size 'em anything between 1000x446 to 1200x540 - current pic is the smaller size). How often a finger has slipped, mostly the little finger, and a key has been pressed and viola--all is gone. Disappeared into the ethernet.
