We had to burn every single piece of upholstered furniture because it all was filled with mice families. The hard stuff, dressers and bedsteads and desks were able to be saved, although they all required massive sanitizing.

But we won't be using the house. It will be knocked down. All those mice had attracted snakes who lived in the walls of the house, drawn by the plentiful food source.

Makes me scream a little thinking about it.Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-833961486558166275.post-88745185591688317502020-10-07T07:23:18.741+02:002020-10-07T07:23:18.741+02:00TRAVEL: ....and we are glad to be back and away fr...TRAVEL: ....and we are glad to be back and away from those high temperatures of SW France! There was a time when we thought that we would never be able to collect it, and the thought of having someone go through the boxes of my possessions was very alarming to me, especially my writing notes. So happy now!
